The Seed Has Already Sprouted: How China Got Inside Our Digital Walls
Inside America’s Firewalls, China’s Roots Run Deep
We keep talking about cyber war like it is some future event. It is not. It is here. It has been here. We are only now waking up to the scale.
The latest proof is disturbing. Chinese coders worked inside Microsoft environments tied to U.S. defense cloud systems for close to a decade. Not hacking from the outside. Not probing from afar. Physically embedded in the supply chain and inside the software ecosystem that our military and government depend on.
That is not an attack. That is positioning. In the military we call that shaping the battlefield.

Imagine a foreign adversary having a quiet set of keys to your ammunition bunkers, communication lines, drone control systems, and classified transport channels. Not to disrupt yet, but to wait. To stay in the shadows until timing matters most. Cyber is terrain and they dug into ours years ago.
This is not paranoia. It is strategy. Chinese doctrine is clear. Win without fighting. Gain access. Burrow in. Wait patiently. Then exploit when the United States is fractured, distracted, or vulnerable.
The public sees cyber attacks like ransomware on hospitals and corporations. The real threat is silent persistence. Access with intent. Code that sleeps. Implants that activate later. Quiet footholds in systems that keep America running.

This Microsoft revelation should be an alarm bell. It is likely not the only one. We have hardware from China in our telecom infrastructure. We have DJI pulling location and imagery from American skies. We have TikTok harvesting the behavior and psychological patterns of our children. We have smart devices, cameras, routers, industrial components, and critical electronics with Chinese chips and firmware inside them.
We allowed the adversary to build into our nervous system. Now we are shocked when we learn they planted sensors in the nerve endings.
We still do not have meaningful policy to fix this. There is no hard ban on Chinese chips in national infrastructure. There is no accelerated removal of foreign firmware from semiconductor supply chains. We are reacting instead of shaping. Congress argues while the battlefield moves.
This is not about fear. It is about reality. Cyber is the new high ground. The nation that owns it owns the fight. China has been building positions for a decade while our government debated what to call it.
Get the POC-1 Ultras for only $399 for two radios and no annual fee for LTE network service for the life of the radios. This price is only for the first 1,000 units sold. After that they’ll be $1,140 a pair, and $29 to $65 a year for LTE service.
Get them HERE.
We do not need outrage. We need action.
Remove foreign code from critical systems.
Ban adversary controlled firmware from power, telecom, and transportation networks.
Stop allowing Chinese owned apps and platforms to shape, track, and manipulate American minds.
Develop real cyber industrial policy that supports U.S. semiconductor and software sovereignty.
Demand accountability from corporations that gave access away in the name of efficiency and cost savings.
The next conflict will not start with missiles. It will start with switches that do not turn on. Communications that suddenly fail. Power grids that glitch. Military systems that freeze. Confusion, not explosions, is the opening move in modern war.
The seeds are already planted. The question now is simple. Will we dig them out before they grow into something we cannot control?
The world is changing. America can either wake up or get caught sleeping.
And in war, sleeping is losing.
Godspeed,

It is hard, sadly, to envision our government taking decisive action on this. Trump is trying to turn around decades of mismanagement and corruption. He doesn't have time to do it all, and insiders will fight like hell to preserve their own illicit side deals.
Wise words as always Mike. We thank you🇺🇸
